Environment Settings for Oracle

     



The oracle_home variable specifies the base directory in which Oracle has
been installed. The oracle_sid variable contains the name of the Oracle instance,
usually three or four characters. Examples:


ORACLE_HOME=/apps/oracle
ORACLE_SID=DB20
